Last Year...

Well... I thought I would post one of the pieces I started last year, but did not finish. This was the first vehicle I ever modelled using Maya. Before I began this project I collected over 400 photographs of a unique touring car (BMW 2002 classic touring car). Due to having no correct blueprints I found this process difficult. As time went by I found that the vehicle was not as accurate as I would like it to be, because I was under a time limit I had to proceed rather then spend time correcting my mistakes. Here are some results of my progression.

Coming to my final semester at University I had to decide what I was going to do for each of my modules. After recently modelling a 'BMW 2002 Classic Touring Car' I thought I would take my vehicle modelling skills further and attempt to produce a motorbike. After endless researching I finally found a bike I found fascinating, this was the 'Confederate Hellcat x132'. With plenty of high quality reference images provided on the Confederate website (www.confederate.com) I was eager to start! Here is my progress so far.

Fresh Start

I am currently a Visual Effects student studying at Staffordshire University, England. As I am coming to the end of my time at University, I am starting to become confident in producing, what I see as quality pieces of work. So maybe it is time to start a blog... I shall be posting all my current projects and 'blogging' all of my progress for each individual project. Enjoy!
